*Apologies for John’s Mic Quality, as the cord hooked to his mic finally stopped working*
This week, John is joined by Sarah as we take a look at the foundation, for a worldwide smash hit book series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s (Sorcerer's) Stone. We look at the background of the books, and how J.K. Rowling was the epitome of a starving artist. We show how the books are a lesson in British Classism, as well as how Rowling appears to be influenced by the great Roald Dhal. Sarah has one or 2 words to say about her feelings on Albus Dumbledore, and listen to how more and more threads in later novels were weaved in this book, whether by accident or by design.
We also have news on upcoming episodes, why we’re not reviewing what I wanted to review, and some words on the stupidity of the world that has been happening over the last 7 days.
