Sunday Sep 16, 2018
Sunday Sep 16, 2018

We look at the cast, and how those who auditioned were a Who’s Who of 90’s teen movie actors. We also look at how perfect Alicia Silverstone was for the part, how “Rich People” problems are displayed as not that different to “Normal People” problems. We comment on how Cher has her “Priotitties” in order, and how this movie MAY be responsible for the Kardashians.
We also have a few thoughts on the US Open final, the recent hurricane in North Carolina, and a display right at the end as to how sleepy we were…

Saturday Oct 20, 2018

This week John is joined by our “Snarky Senior” Tara, as we look at Jurassic Park, the movie that is in John’s opinion, the greatest summer blockbuster of all time. We look at the philosophy of the movie, and the moral dilemmas it produces. We also look at the dinos, how they were made, and how one of the biggest “stars” in the movie, don’t fit in with reality. We also look at the greed, and wonder that the park is set to exploit, as well as how the casting was good, so we didn’t see the actors but the characters.
Also there was a few words about the ghostbusters reboot, the upcoming WWE show that both Tara and I will attend, and a competition for people, to win some free stuff, when the stuff comes online.

*Apologies for John’s Mic Quality, as the cord hooked to his mic finally stopped working*
This week, John is joined by Sarah as we take a look at the foundation, for a worldwide smash hit book series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s (Sorcerer's) Stone. We look at the background of the books, and how J.K. Rowling was the epitome of a starving artist. We show how the books are a lesson in British Classism, as well as how Rowling appears to be influenced by the great Roald Dhal. Sarah has one or 2 words to say about her feelings on Albus Dumbledore, and listen to how more and more threads in later novels were weaved in this book, whether by accident or by design.
We also have news on upcoming episodes, why we’re not reviewing what I wanted to review, and some words on the stupidity of the world that has been happening over the last 7 days.
